COURSE DESCRIPTION:
In Precalculus students will further their knowledge from Geometry and Algebra II. The course will consist of a variety of concepts including graphing and analyzing functions, modeling real world data, solving problems using trigonometric functions, conics, exponentials and logarithms, probability and statistics. Students who complete this course will be prepared for college level calculus.

You will have access to a digital platform of the textbook. The textbook for this course is Precalculus with CalcChat and CalcView 10th edition, Cengage Learning, 2016.

ALL HW IS DUE BY THE NEXT CLASS, but will not be marked late if submitted by 11:59 PM on Fridays, unless otherwise stated.
LATE WORK:
LATE WORK IS NOT ACCEPTED, as per high school math department's policy.
MAKE-UP WORK:
If you have an excused absence, you have one class for each day you were absent. YOU MUST EMAIL MS. LEAL ONCE THE MAKE-UP ASSIGNMENT IS COMPLETED, especially if the grade book has already been updated for the assignment.
MAKE-UP QUIZZES & TESTS:
If you have an excused absence, you have one class for each day you were absent to make it up. You must schedule a time with Ms. Leal. During tutoring hours is ideal.
RE-TAKE TESTS:
There are no retake tests, so make sure you study hard and prepare the first time!
GRADING:
No rounding. No curving.
